"You wear a mask for too long, you forget who you are beneath it"

Hellloooo! I am back blogging ONCE a month. Life has been super busy and kind of hectic since I started work and I dislike staring into the computer nowadays because of my job scope. I am just grateful for everything, alhamdulillah. Things have been manageable. I've got some downs here and there but time have been passing by quite fast.


Previously, I talked about how Zoom interviews were kind of 'annoying'. Today, I would like to share my experience walking into a job with only knowing people through their eyes.


It is pretty scary, I must admit.


When I see someone new, I can only judge them based on their outfit, eyes and character. Basically, in my head, I crafted that 'vision' of how they would look like. However, it all changes after 2-3 weeks of knowing people and being in love with their character and getting used to seeing them in MASK.


When people took off their mask, it is so much more different than what I expected them to be! It is like a whole new different person. And to be honest, it can be scary and it can shock you. It will take some time for you to adjust to THAT fact.


BUTTTTTT... I am glad we are all covering our faces so we do not judge someone by their apperance at first but instead, we judge them based on their character, work ethics and even life story which I really did appreciate meeting so so many kind souls at work. Because the hurtful truth is that, some people who had the kindness heart looked average while the ones who had the meanest attitude had one of the prettier faces which is why, life is kind of. unfair? Or maybe, it is well 'balanced', you can say...


I just pray this job will be permanent for me and I pray that things will get easier and better for me, In shaa Allah! Till next post next month, in shaa Allah. Hopefully I would have ALLLLL the energy and the strength to.
