Fertilizers for Motivation

Never let people define who you are. Or tell you what you should be doing or your goals in life. You are you. You create your own dreams and chase them because dreams can be a reality.

Comparing is a disease of the mind. Don't compare yourself to anyone. Just carry on at your own pace

You don't need attention and compliments to feel good about yourself. Being confident can make you happier. Happiness starts with you.

Only focus on your goals. Don't be distracted by others. The only way to succeed is to focus on yourself and what is best for you.

Be kind. Be nice. Think good of others.

It makes a difference,

a good one.

2020 - the year full of hatred

"Hate is a weak emotion a sign of failure."

I am super duper sad that I am living in this kind of era where people are out to HATE others. People can't see others doing mistakes and once they have done a certain mistake, they won't be forgiven. There is a difference between having a intellectual discussion VS bashing the party who is at fault. I have seen the trend and the cycle - hate person A and the issues die down. Now who is the next target?

We made it seem that with just a mistake, that person is going to hell. Why so harsh? When in reality, WE ALL HAVE OUR OWN MISTAKES. Just that we don't share them and our aib is being hidden by Allah s.w.t. And while we earn for Allah's forgiveness, shouldn't we too forgive others? Circuit breaker and working from home made it even worst. We made it a point to go on social media everyday and we feel like we need to have A SAY in every issue even though it is irrelevant to us. BUT WHY??? Joining the bandwagon and putting putting out our deepen anger against things that contradicts our own character? We keep hating and hating until WE BECAME the bad guy. WE BECAME the antagonist of the story. You can fight for rights and stand up for believes without cursing on people and their family. Because of people's mistakes, we became the monster.

And we can never understand until one day, we are in their shoes and we are desperate for forgiveness. But none, would give. So please please please stop hating. Know your enemy. That the enemy isn't about people but it is our own character we can't tame. We need to stay calm and learn values from each other instead of hating and pushing others away whenever they did a mistake. That is when your real enemy emerge - your own ego and pride. To the influencers who shared things at the wrong timing online, to the ladies who decided to take off her hijab and to the podcasters that talked about taboo topics, I forgive you. One day, I would want people to forgive me too if I have said anything wrong at the wrong time or did any wrong actions unintentionally. We shall grow from mistakes and move forward as a community. Not alone and never alone.

May Allah s.w.t protect us to the very end. Aamiin.♡
