Fertilizers for Motivation

Never let people define who you are. Or tell you what you should be doing or your goals in life. You are you. You create your own dreams and chase them because dreams can be a reality.

Comparing is a disease of the mind. Don't compare yourself to anyone. Just carry on at your own pace

You don't need attention and compliments to feel good about yourself. Being confident can make you happier. Happiness starts with you.

Only focus on your goals. Don't be distracted by others. The only way to succeed is to focus on yourself and what is best for you.

Be kind. Be nice. Think good of others.

It makes a difference,

a good one.

How do you survive?

"There are more to life than surviving"

I know I am a week's late for my blogpost. It's my birthday tomorrow and I need to write a reflection post. But for today, I would love to blog about something different. (Btw, sorry if this post doesn't make sense because I am really sleepy and it is 1.30 A.M.) Past week has been an eye-opener for me because I learnt about so many things. From loving yourself, to relationship with you family and friends to life hacks in staying alive. THERE WERE SO MANY THINGS GOING ON! It was quite overwhelming till I feel like I needed to shut out from socialising and taking a few days to process my thoughts. The first thing I learnt this week is to ALWAYS TAKE CHARGE of your life, emotions and actions. Be responsible for your emotions and actions. Be responsible for your thought process and thinking. Be responsible of what you are saying. If the things you have done was UNINTENTIONALLY hurting people, it shows that there is still something wrong with how you think or how you say or do such things. If the things you have done was INTENTIONALLY hurting people, it shows that there is clearly something wrong with your heart. The second thing I learnt this week is to MOVE ON FROM PEOPLE who does not make you grow. It doesn't matter if you have known each other for years or you are even family members. If the person doesn't bring life lessons or knowledge into the conversation, stop the conversation. Go out and talk to people who are wiser and has more knowledge, that is how we all grow. If we are stuck with people who are so comfortable in their own skin, it is difficult for us to open up and explore he world of knowledge.

The third thing I learnt this week is THE HACK OF STAYING ALIVE is ALSA.

1. ACCEPTANCE 2. LIST 3. SOLUTION 4. ACTIONS Accept the fact that you are not coping well to the problems in life. Don't be in denial that you are not okay and you don't need help. Seek help if possible or heal alone if it is better for you. Take time to digest everything that is happening. Stay calm. After you are very calm, list ALLL your problems down. From what worries you least to the worst. That way, you know which to prioritise first. Find the solution to every problem you face. Be it a small problem like, 'I am craving for ice cream but there is no ice cream at home. It makes me sad because I am on my period'. So, you find a solution to it, 'Okay, tomorrow straight after work, I am going to buy that ice cream.' Finally, actions speaks louder than words. If you did promise yourself to get that ice cream, go and get it and do not procrastinate the things you need to do for yourself. Procrastinating would make yourself feel even worst! So don't!

Short post but I'll be back for my annual birthday week post... That shall be a really long post!

May Allah s.w.t. protect us always. Aamiin.♡
