Fertilizers for Motivation

Never let people define who you are. Or tell you what you should be doing or your goals in life. You are you. You create your own dreams and chase them because dreams can be a reality.

Comparing is a disease of the mind. Don't compare yourself to anyone. Just carry on at your own pace

You don't need attention and compliments to feel good about yourself. Being confident can make you happier. Happiness starts with you.

Only focus on your goals. Don't be distracted by others. The only way to succeed is to focus on yourself and what is best for you.

Be kind. Be nice. Think good of others.

It makes a difference,

a good one.

Dear Ramadhan

Writing again in the train on the way to work. Its the last day of Ramadhan and tonight, Syawal will be arriving.

Dear Ramadan, though this year wasn't what I was expecting -being sick and only able to pray and fast for less than 20 days, this year Ramadan have been much different than last year. As you know, last year's Ramadan was the worst ever.

Though I was busy working, this year Ramadan gave me peace in my heart. It gave me time and space to heal myself. I learn to redha with whatever that's infront of me and I try to be someone who gives her best despite the tiredness and despite me not getting what I deserve.

However, I am aware that I need to be selfish once awhile to better myself and to be ready to face whatever is coming up next. The next few months would be busy but I shall remind myself that it will be worth it. Worth every bit of effort and tiredness.

Thank you Allah for gifting us this Ramadan for us to recharge and to reevaluate ourselves. It was a super short month for most of us but I hope Allah s.w.t forgives all our sins (big or small). To start the months onwards with a pure and motivated heart. Aamiin.

I might not know if I would see you next year Ramadhan, but till then, we are all going to miss you.

Signing off,

ThePinkRosetteOnTheTrain
