Fertilizers for Motivation

Never let people define who you are. Or tell you what you should be doing or your goals in life. You are you. You create your own dreams and chase them because dreams can be a reality.

Comparing is a disease of the mind. Don't compare yourself to anyone. Just carry on at your own pace

You don't need attention and compliments to feel good about yourself. Being confident can make you happier. Happiness starts with you.

Only focus on your goals. Don't be distracted by others. The only way to succeed is to focus on yourself and what is best for you.

Be kind. Be nice. Think good of others.

It makes a difference,

a good one.

" You have to press against the pressure that's pressuring against you"

A day late but I'm finally resting tonight. This whole week was full of activities. Last Saturday, I had a food and fashion event which I got to expand my network with other businessmen/women. I was working the whole week and had my graduation last Thursday.

Before I start on today's post, let me just clear some air on HOW I actually graduated so fast. Basically, I only needed to take 12 modules (with exemptions) because I was from the same course in poly. Following which, I only had 1 week of holiday between each term (yes, that crazy! We barely had enough of rest!). So yes, 1 YEAR OF HECTIC AND STRESSFUL LIFE.

Let me just sum up whatever I learn throughout my hectic 1 year of uni life. Here it goes...

*At this moment, I fell asleep and continued blogging 2 days later. IS THIS HOW ADULT LIFE FEEL LIKE?*

1. Mentally prepare yourself that it's not going to be easy Nothing is EVER easy, with that, just do a little mental preparation that you are going to cry more than smiling.

2. ...but, never lose hope and give up easily Many breakdowns and the feeling of just giving up. I remember just the first 4 months of Uni and I told my friends, "I really feel like giving up. I don't want to do this anymore." But I'm glad I didn't lose hope and still continued striving.

3. It's okay to lose people along the way

In uni, no one knows how it feels like to be all stressed up with the amount of knowledge you have to gain like a sponge soaked in water. People who never got through it won't TRULY understand that it is difficult. So it's okay to just pack your bags and leave the people who would never understand you. Don't give up when people think it was easy for you. Confide in your Uni friends because they are those who are going through the same thing as you and are suffering with you.

4. Just stay positive and DO YOUR BEST! I swear, before every single exam, I break down in nervousness and the negative part of me will say, "I can't do it. I will fail" and the positive part of me will say, "Just do your best and Allah s.w.t. will do the rest. Tawakkal." ALWAYS LISTEN TO YOUR POSITIVE SIDE. If you don't have one, then start having one because you REALLY NEED IT - self-motivation. 90% of Uni life, I was only relying on my self-motivation because I'm the one doing this. And 100% of the time, I relied on faith. Try to be confident at the same time tell yourself, "Whatever that is meant to be, it's for the best" If you fail and need to retake a certain module, then tell yourself that it's okay... Life doesn't end there and you are just going to be like a few steps slower but at the end of the day, IT DOESN'T MATTER and IT'S OKAY!!!

And lastly,...

5. Don't forget that the All-Knowing is there every single second of your life. Through hardships and ease, always take the effort to find Him.

Knowledge is such a big thing. Knowledge is HUGE. But I always tell myself that every knowledge is His and solely His. It's not owned by the smartest guy in the world, it is HIS! Thus, if you feel like you can't get knowledge, go to the All-Forgiving, repent and ask Him to give THAT knowledge that He holds. If other people are greedy of the knowledge they have, run to the All-Loving and tell Him to give you the same knowledge for that knowledge is HIS. Whatever you do or feel, always run back to Him for help because honestly, no one in this world can truly help you unless He allows to.

Also, success dunia and akhirat TO ME PERSONALLY means that you can balance your worldly affairs and deen at the same time. So, someone might be knowledgeable in this world but not knowledgeable in religious aspects. In my rules of life, I really try to balance both of it. That's my main rule in life and how I "measure" successful in my life - wherever I am or whatever I am doing.

With that, I pray that every single one of you whoever reads this would be blessed with great knowledge and with that knowledge, help the community in a certain way. Amiin! ♥
