Treat jealousy

" Jealousy is just a lack of self-confidence"
I guess I should quickly write this post before doing other things. I've been really busy for the past week. Already tired from work, weddings, religious class and now the business.
It's been busy but I'm so blessed that I've not wasted any time doing NOTHING. Kind of miss this "so busy" life. Though I'm already not sleeping properly and not having enough rest, it feels nice to be productive.
For the past one week, there was something I was so curious about...
Why do people hate others because of jealousy?
For example, when you see someone doing better than you, you stop supporting and talking to that person because you feel that they don't need it anymore or maybe you feel that by not supporting them, they will get less and hopefully end up lesser than you. Nauzubillah.
OR, when you see someone doing better than you, you try to talk bad about them with the intention to bring them down. There is a hadith Sahih from Imam Muslim which goes, Rasulullah s.a.w. said: “There is no Muslim servant who supplicates for his brother behind his back but that the angel says: And for you the same.”
And whenever I want to feel this hatred to a person who has more than me, I remember this hadith. Because by praying for them, in shaa Allah, the angels will pray for me too. And with hopes that Allah s.w.t listens and bless us the same or if not more than whatever we want that is best for us.
A really short post today. But, on a side note, I feel that being busy really takes my mind off to things that aren't important or toxic to the mind. So I'm very very blessed with whatever is going on right now though I'm feeling very tired.
I pray that all of us will always be blessed by The All-Giving and All-Loving. May He shower us with blessings that are beyond what we want because He knows best.♥
