You don't need attention and compliments to feel good about yourself. Being confident can make you happier. Happiness starts with you. 

Only focus on your goals. Don't be distracted by others. The only way to succeed is to focus on yourself and what is best for you.

Be kind. Be nice. Think good of others.

New beginnings

Today's post would be slightly special.


Firstly, it's the 42nd post which means the next 10 posts onwards would be the last 10 weeks of 2018 which ALSO means, a countdown to 2019. To be honest, I'm not quite sure if it is a good thing or a bad thing - very neutral. Secondly, yesterday, on the 18th October 2018, I and N decided to officially open an online business which consists of unique foods/snacks and drinks that can't be easily found in Singapore. This path is not one of my goals in my life but we will see where this baby takes us. Effort and trust in Allah s.w.t right? So whoever who is reading this, if there is any, please pray for our business and do support Crunch 'N' Quench.


Thirdly, tomorrow will be the end of something so heavy I have been going through, alhamdulillah. It is something that happened at about the start of this year and it was really really tough (affected my studies especially) but alhamdulillah, with His grace and help, I got through it and I'm getting my degree cert next month.


Through this tough process, the All-Knowing showed me one very special lesson - those who were by my side for the past months (which was only less than 5) were my true friends and they will be always in my prayers and mind. Allah, those people were there when I was going through a tough time even though they had their own problems, they were so sensitive of what I'm going through. Like, I don't have to say much because Allah s.w.t knows EVERYTHING.


Fourthly, I will be starting a temporary but new journey on Monday, 22nd. Alhamdulillah. Working at a new place which I am both excited and nervous about. I'm SUPER SUPER excited because I will be doing what I love which is being in the lab but I'm SUPER nervous as I'm not sure what to expect.


However, I'll be sure to update this blog every Friday, In shaa Allah.


I guess people would say 2019 will be a new year so new beginnings but as for me, my new beginning starts at this very odd date - close to the end of 2018. I'll save the reflection of my 2018 journey to the end of the year.


(I just realise with many things going on right now, I won't be having quality time with my piano **cries** I'll try to squeeze in time for you dear and I'll still be doing covers if I have the time.)


For now, I pray that every single one reading would be blessed with patience if you are going through hardships and may He shower with an abundance of His help in helping you to achieve what you want and to bless you with what's best for you. ♥
