Fertilizers for Motivation

Never let people define who you are. Or tell you what you should be doing or your goals in life. You are you. You create your own dreams and chase them because dreams can be a reality.

Comparing is a disease of the mind. Don't compare yourself to anyone. Just carry on at your own pace

You don't need attention and compliments to feel good about yourself. Being confident can make you happier. Happiness starts with you.

Only focus on your goals. Don't be distracted by others. The only way to succeed is to focus on yourself and what is best for you.

Be kind. Be nice. Think good of others.

It makes a difference,

a good one.

" Never judge someone on their past because they

are no longer at that stage in their life"

When I write blogs, I want to be as REAL and HONEST as possible because that is how someone should be (yknow), same in real life and on social media. Thus, this brings me to my next point,... Let's be frank, so I was looking through my Twitter and I realise that Twitter was a place for me to just rant and complain about my struggles and talk about all the "bad" things I am going through. This actually stirred some MORE problems that were inflicted on me because do not ever trust whoever who is following your twitter. Even though your twitter is private, people can just take a tweet of yours and bring it out of twitter and make you look bad or start slandering. And it could also be someone very close to you. From then on, I kind of "filtered" my followers and currently I have only 94 followers. And my followers consist of people who 1. Don't care about me 2. Care about me but don't judge at all. (I HOPE) This brings me to my next point - I actually created a NEW twitter account that is public so I can be more positive rather than entertaining my angsty-moments to just rant, rant and rant. Sometimes you just get so tired of ranting and making it a habit is just so unhealthy. Also, I can't blog on a daily basis because I am busy and it will be super tiring for me. So tweeting would be a good idea. What made me actually thought of this is, during this one week, I have been complaining and ranting on my twitter. But every single time I ranted, the next day or the next moment, something else came up which showed me like "No, it's not true what you are ranting." Okay, let me elaborate my story. Story 1: I was ranting about my disagreements with my parents on twitter. The very next day, it was very unusual for me to reach my religious class very early. When I sat in class with only two more classmates of mine, my teacher had a chat with me. She asked what I was doing and she asked how did I get the money to go to university. AND IT STRUCK ME. It was because of my parents who were actually helping me to get into University and I instantly felt so bad on ranting the day before.

Story 2: I was ranting about how you can't expect people to actually reciprocate your efforts the same way you have helped them. And to be honest, I was kind of a little disappointed with a few people but ma shaa Allah, the very next day, a friend of mine, R, asked me if she could meet me, just to have a chat. We met and we REALLY had a good time. This made me cherish more with what I have now and not to let other people's action affect you. Also, that same very night, N actually texted me these sentences (btw, N isn't following me on twitter) which made my heart melt and made me really cherish those who loved me and accepted me for who I am.

I couldn't have felt more grateful and thankful, alhamdulillah. So I had a thought, by showing I am really thankful, I should stop ranting. Right? Thus, I felt that I needed to create a new twitter with a more positive vibes environment with hopes that one day I will stop ranting on twitter (FOR REAL).

However, while everyone is trying to be better, there will be those who will bring you down and stop you from being a good person. Truth is, everyone will keep talking about each other (good or bad) and I am pretty sure we do not need a prove for this because just by reflecting on ourselves and by observing our surroundings, IT IS HAPPENING.

I recently watched The ACE Family video.

A short introduction of The ACE Family - they are a family youtuber and they vlog quite often. Just to clarify why I love them because yknow people can be so judgemental. HAHA. Okay so basically, 1. They are positive people 2. They also do charity work and they donate too despite their overwhelming wealth which I am quite motivated and impressed with 3. They are really humble people 4. Their baby girl is just too cute!

So going back to their video (you can click the link to watch it), they talked about hate comments - how people actually take their time to scroll their twitter all the way back to 7 years ago and took a tweet and spread it saying they are racist etc. Obviously, people can't run away from mistakes they made and everyone has those past that they regretted saying or doing something. The only thing that people can do is to admit their mistake and to try to be someone better in the future.

And I remember what someone told me, "the only thing that you should talk about in the past is our Prophet and his sahabahs."

I pray that firstly, all of us will try to be a better person no matter what situation we are in and no matter how people around you will react to your positive change. Secondly, I pray that all of us will cherish those people who are currently there in front of us showing effort that they love us. And I pray these people are always always always safe and protected by the All-Loving. Thirdly, I pray that we stop looking back and always look forward - be it for ourselves and for others. Lastly, I pray all of us will just stay positive, this world needs more positive vibes. ♥
