Fertilizers for Motivation

Never let people define who you are. Or tell you what you should be doing or your goals in life. You are you. You create your own dreams and chase them because dreams can be a reality.

Comparing is a disease of the mind. Don't compare yourself to anyone. Just carry on at your own pace

You don't need attention and compliments to feel good about yourself. Being confident can make you happier. Happiness starts with you.

Only focus on your goals. Don't be distracted by others. The only way to succeed is to focus on yourself and what is best for you.

Be kind. Be nice. Think good of others.

It makes a difference,

a good one.

GRATATHON'19: Intro

Before September ends and before October starts, I've decided to create a habit in me for the next 2 months - GRATATHON.

This idea started while I was watching a video of a Malaysian Youtuber who had a botox surgery but in the end, repented. It was when he realised he wasn't thankful enough for what Allah s.w.t have blessed him with. He realised that after the botox was washed away, his original facial features was actually NOT THAT BAD.

He talked about how we should be thankful to live a very peaceful life. If we are not thankful, even if we have EVERYTHING in this world, we STILL wouldn't be happy.

For the past few days, I've been quite quiet because I have been reflecting and mostly resting. Things have been so mentally damaging and tiring I needed this space and time to just get back up and be myself again - to do what I love to do.

One of the ways I would be doing this 'healing' is to write down what I am thankful for EVERY SINGLE DAY for the next 2 months. Which means, yes! - 61 things I am grateful for. Thus, GRATATHON (Grateful + Marathon).

I will be starting it tomorrow, In shaa Allah. I probably will be writing it in my phone notes first and then I will be posting it up on my blog weekly. Really hope that this would really help me out to be stronger mentally, In Shaa Allah. I would really want a happy me back and that joy of socialising.

May Allah s.w.t help us through everything in life, ease our challenges and gives us a lot of strength to handle situations which we think we are not capable off. May Allah give us courage when we are in need of it and when we are on the verge of giving up. Aamiin ya rabbal al-aamiin..
